My last post was last October and contemplating Nanowrimo or not, as well as dealing with lots of pain. It is now July...and I have the answers to those questions I had then and gladly I can look back and say "remember when." Just last evening I went out for a get together with some coworkers with some sadness of heart as our beloved boss leaves us in a week for sunnier lands, but it was a good time and I didn't have to worry about how I sat or stood or how to make the pain go away and I was glad for that and I believe so were my coworkers. We went to same place for our Christmas Party and I ended up laying on the floor, I was just glad to be there, but my back just couldn't take it. The MRI led me to surgery and I still wasn't back to work at Christmas, I actually didn't make it back until February and now it is hard to believe that I was off work and having so much pain for around 4 months. But when one lays around for months on end and one of those months is November, one has no excuses not to participate in NanoWrimo and complete those 50,000 words. It gave me a sense of accomplishment in some tough times.
Well, summer is here and I am busy as always....although I am supposed to be writing for Camp Nanowrimo, but I haven't been to productive....not even pain????...just kidding, no plans to go back there, maybe I will write later today, but first I need some rhubarb from mom's and a nice box of blueberries and the list goes on.
P.S. the D was Degerloch, outside of Stuttgart, Germany. Home to my friend Connie. I enjoyed some pleasant days visiting with her a couple Decembers ago.
